I love the garage!!! I can not rest when rooms are in chaos – it affects my ability to relax. We have had our own project going on from the end of February, to decorate the entire downstairs. The lounge, one of the last rooms to be done is almost finished. This weekend we can finally get back in there to get straight – Hooray! I don’t think we could ever do it again so I’m glad it looks so good. It’s totally exhausting. As regards the pack and roll I shall be putting that to good use this week while packing for a few days in the Scilly Isles. Well done Sue for giving us brilliant ideas and inspiring us to make our living space so much more comfortable.

Hi, I love your post and have a random question. I was just wondering if you could tell me the name of the paint color and kind of paint that was used for the walls in your pictures. Please let me know. Thank you

    • Sue Parfitt says:

Hi there, thanks for your comment. It’s come through on the contact me page so I’m not sure which pictures you wanted to know about. The walls in our hallway are painted in Pale Linen by Laura Ashley. Is that the area you were asking about?

Hello sue . I really love the way you have done your living room. Could you please tell me of where I could get the same wallpaper and paint on the chimney breast . Also where can I get the same fire place . Thank you.

    • Sue Parfitt says:

Thanks so much for your comment about the fireplace. I have been searching the internet and wracking my brains to try and remember where I got it from and I can’t think of the name! I’m going to have a rummage through my old paperwork to see if I can find an invoice over the next couple of days so bear with me! Meanwhile, the paint on the chimney breast is ‘duck egg’ by Homebase and the wallpaper is the isodore duck egg from Laura Ashley.

  4. Swati says:

  5. Pearl says:

HI Sue, absolutely loved your daughters bedroom. Would really like to know where the dressing table was purchased as I am looking for something similar.

    • Sue Parfitt says:

Hi Pearl, thanks so much, I’ll be posting a full source list for the new bedroom over the weekend so do check back but in the meantime, it’s actually a Hemnes desk from IKEA and the hutch was purchased separately to go on top – again from the HEMNES range. We bought it in the white stain finish but others are available xx

  6. Anne Lee says:

    Hi Sue,
Absolutely love your living room and without realizing have pretty much replicated it whilst redecorating ours! The only thing we have left to choose is our the sofas and were looking online for inspiration when saw yours – are you able to tell me the make and colours of the two you have? Thank you so much.

    • Sue Parfitt says:

Hi Anne, thanks, what is it they say about ‘great minds?’ šŸ˜‰ Our sofas were from Harveys. We have actually replaced them with new ones after a fault developed after the sofas were discontinued. The old ones shown here in my home tour are no longer available but the new ones are available to see on my instagram page and we are really pleased with them. They are very similar to the old ones and are here online if you’d like to take a look:
